BEAVER, Okla. – Harry I. Evans, 94, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at the Beaver County Nursing Home.
He was born July 8, 1915, to Frank and Rebecca (Brown) Evans in Laverne, Okla.
He married Pauline Hinkle June 15, 1946, in Las Vegas. She survives.
He graduated from high school and served in the U.S. Army. He retired from the lumberyard and post office.
He was a member of the First Christian Church.
He was a member of the American Legion and VFW.
Other survivors include one son, Charley Evans, Beaver, Okla.; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Beaver First Christian Church with Rick Main presiding.
Burial will be at the Pioneer Cemetery in Beaver.
