ULYSSES – Theodore (Ted) Leslie Correll, 72, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
He was born Oct. 27, 1940, to Donald L. and Rosa Lee (Martin) Correll in Lamar, Colo.
He married Berniece Young June 5, 1960. She survives.
He graduated from Grant County Rural High School in 1959.
He worked for Cities Service and retired after 35 years from Williams Natural Gas in 1999.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, classic cars, car shows and drinking coffee with his friends.
Other survivors include his mother; two daughters, Annette Nichols and husband, Jerald, Manter, and Vicki Koehn and husband, Joe, Hesston; two brothers, Tom Correll, Yorba Linda, Calif., and Marty Correll, Linwood; three grandchildren, Cody Milligan, Jeraca Rader and MacKenzie Koehn; and three great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Rilynn Milligan and Gavin Rader.
He was preceded in death by his father.
o Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Country View Baptist Church in Ulysses, with the Rev. Sam Bynum presiding.
Burial will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery.
Friends may call 2 to 8 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
