HUGOTON – Rosie Marie Lang, 77, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at her residence.
She was born March 12, 1935, to James Rollen and Edith (Cox) Lankford in Haskell County, Texas.
She married Milton Lang Nov. 22, 1949, in Gail, Texas. He preceded her in death.
She owned and operated Rosies Diner in Moscow.
She was a member of the Moscow Baptist Church.
She enjoyed helping with church and the community.
Survivors include three sons, Milton Jerry Lang, Merced, Calif., William James Lang, Kersey, Colo., and Roger Dale Lang, Branson, Mo.; two daughters, Gloria Nopens, Longmont, Colo., and Shawna Pipher and husband, Curley, Crawford, Colo.; five sisters, Neoma Kirby, Abilene, Texas, Wanda Jean Dodson, North Highland, Calif., Merttie Irene Bunner, Calhoun, Mo., Evelyn Graham, San Angelo, Texas, and Geneva Miles, San Angelo; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, R.J. Lankford, three sisters, Gladys, Oramaye, Laura Belle, and one grandson, Michael Lang.
o Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Moscow Baptist Church, with Pastor Larry Bradford presiding.
Burial will be at the Moscow Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon to 4 p.m. today at Moscow Baptist Church.
