Tyrone took down a familiar foe Tuesday, Balko. The Bobcats beat the Bison for the fourth time this season, 69-57.

Austin Olivas finished with a game-high 27, and Payson Slater followed up with 23. Olivas hit two threes and was 9 of 10 from the charity stripe. Slater did his damage inside, converting 9 field goals.

Grady Franz was the Bison’s leading scorer with 23, converting ten field goals. Justin Mays added 11 points while making 6 of 8 free throws, and Jordan Busch 10 points, including two threes.

The first quarter was tight with Tyrone taking a slim 11-10 lead. The Bobcats took control in the middle quarters, outscoring Balko 16-11 and 19-14 to go up 46-35 heading into the fourth.

Balko outscored Tyrone 22-21 in the fourth, leaving Tyrone with a 10-point win.

Tyrone (18-2) travels to Yarbrough today. Balko (9-12) travels to Boise City Saturday.
