Izetta Mae “Tommie” Gray, 85, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at her residence in Liberal.
She was born Nov. 28, 1927, to James E. and Mary Ann (Fehr) Swiger in Balko, Okla.
She married Herbert W. Gray Nov. 27, 1946, in Beaver, Okla. He died Aug. 29, 1980.
She graduated from Balko High School as valedictorian of her class.
She retired after 25 years as a cake decorator for King Soopers bakery in Colorado. She worked at Food Bonanza for 10 years, then at Wal-Mart from 1999 to 2008.
She was a member of New Hope Church of God and First National Bank Prestige Club.
Survivors include one son, Wayne E. Gray and wife, Lidia, Liberal; two daughters, Kathy Tiffany and husband, Sean, Golden, Colo., Connie Bowman and husband, Chuck, Littleton, Colo.; six grandchildren, Robby Adams, Amanda Brungardt, Rami Cox, April Bowman, Kelly Hornung and Cristina Parr; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Euteva Malson, and Ardella Swiger.
o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be at Restlawn Cemetery in Liberal.
Friends may call from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, with the family to receive friends from 1-3 p.m.
