MANTER – Bud Loader, 76, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at his home in Manter.
He was born Feb. 14, 1936, to Durward and Lura (Kligore) Loader in Stanton County.
He married Ruth Hale Jan. 14,1956, in Clayton, N.M. She survives.
After graduating from Manter High School, he began farming, raising cattle and horses.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, target shooting, rock hunting, water and snow skiing and flying.
Other survivors include his sons, Charles Loader and wife, Joy, Smithville, Tenn., and Wes Loader and wife, Tina; daughter, Tammy Loader and Chris Hoover, all of Manter; brother, Lonnie Loader, Penrose, Colo.; sisters, Bonnie Stone and husband, Charlie, Manter, Maurina Chenoweth and husband, Gary, Pueblo, Colo., Debbie and Deanna; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronnie Loader; and sister, Billie McNutt.
o Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Manter United Methodist Church in Manter, with Pastor Will Kenyon presiding.
Burial will follow at the Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson.
