Joe Bean signed his letter of intent to play football at Tulsa University Tuesday afternoon in front of family, coaches, and teammates in the Hooker Auditorium.

“You grow up playing in the back yard with cousins and friends dreaming of getting to play where they guys you look up to do,” signee Joe Bean said. “Hooker is a special place, and I believe God put me here for a reason. I’m blessed to the max to be a part of this awesome community.”

Hooker head football coach Jacob Kreamer spoke highly of Bean’s athletic ability, and his leadership.

“He loves playing the game, and has a passion for it,” Kreamer said. “He plays with a lot of intensity, and all of the guys fed off of that. I’m very proud of him. He’s worked extremely hard to get here.”

Bean was recruited to Tulsa by defensive secondary coach Jess Leopp who graduated from Turpin.
