Earl Patton “Pat” Robinson, 77, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at his home.

He was born Oct. 16, 1935, to Yancy and Cleo Patton Robinson in Graham, Texas.

He married Shirley Ann Stalcup Aug. 6, 1955, at the Tyrone Baptist Church. She died April 11, 1973.

He attended school and graduated from Tyrone High School with the Class of 1954. After graduation, he attended Panhandle State A&M College in Goodwell, Okla.

He worked at the Tyrone Gas Plant. Later, he worked for the City of Tyrone before he started at National Helium. He started as a plant operator and moved up to become shift supervisor. He retired on Jan. 1, 1993.

He enjoyed quail hunting, training bird dogs, guiding bird hunts and being with family. He was a Seward County Saint fan and enjoyed watching the Tyrone Bobcats. He enjoyed being with friends as they drank coffee together.

Survivors include his son, Richard Robinson. Tyrone, Okla.; daughter, Leigh Ann Martin and husband, Tom, Turpin, Okla.; one brother, Bill Robinson, Granbury, Texas; four grandchildren, Laci Martin, Wichita, Lexi Martin, Turpin, and Bethani and Cade McIntire, Turpin; two nieces, Becky Wright and husband, Tom, Fort Worth, Texas, and Lisa Necker and husband, Ed, Stephenville, Texas; grand niece, Emily Necker; and other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.

o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Tyrone Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ed Necker presiding.

Burial will be at the Tyrone Cemetery.
