ELKHART – Teresa E. Palacios, 57, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart.
She was born March 22, 1955, toJose and Agripina (Leya) Espino in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico.
She married Isaias Palacios nine years ago. He survives.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Elkhart. Shea was also a member of the church Spanish Choir.
She enjoyed attending horse races.
Other survivors include five daughters, Martha Zubia, Odessa, Texas, Nora E. Hinojoza, Monahans, Texas, Sandra Zubia, Elkhart, Bilma E. Rios, Monahans, and Jessica Guzman, Elkhart; one brother, Jesus Espino, Ojinaga Chihuahua, Mexico; four sisters, Maria Rios, Odessa, Aide Zubia, Odessa, and Lidia Muñoz and Irma Hinojoza, both of Ojinaga, Chihuahua Mexico; 21 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
o Rosary and vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, and funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, both at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Elkhart, with the Rev. Francis Khoi Nguyen presiding.
Burial will follow at the Elkhart Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart.
