Obituary

Esteban R. Salinas, 28, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at his home.

He was born July 13, 1984, to Ismael “Mylo” Salinas and Juanita Ramos in Liberal.

He attended school in Turpin, Okla., and worked in the oilfields.

He is survived by two grandmothers, Olivia Salinas, Ulysses, and Juanita Ramos, Houston; his parents; two sons, Seth Salinas and Emilio Salinas, Big Springs, Texas; two daughters, Angela Salinas, Big Springs, Texas, and Layla Salinas, Greenville, Pa.; four brothers, Ismael Salinas Jr. Grand Junction, Colo., Carlos Salinas, Liberal,  Conrado Salinas, Liberal, and Martine Salinas, Turpin; one sister, Delilah Bond, Fountain, Colo.;  and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Carlos Salinas and Arthur G. Ramos, and his brother, Emilio Salinas.

• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at  Turpin United Methodist Church, with  the Rev. Todd Bergman presiding.

Burial will be at the Tyrone Cemetery.

Friends may call until 7 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Mortuary.
