Obituary

 

Ina “May” Davis, 87, died Tuesday Feb. 26, 2013.

She was born May 5, 1925, to Ellis and Ina Dudrey in Ellinwood.

She married Malvin Davis in 1973. He preceded her in death.

She graduated from high school and then attended Southern Christian College in San Antonio.

She was a secretary at the Senior Center and library for 20 years in Kansas.

She enjoyed gardening, reading and puzzle books. She loved her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Fatimah Mohammad, (Ousainou Kieta), Iowa City, Iowa; a brother, David Dudrey (Sharron), Gretna, Neb.; three sisters, Jane Stoll. Oklahoma City, Cleo Stoll, Liberal, and Joan Bruner, Jacksonville, Fla.; eight grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; and a daughter-in- law; Cherri Billingsley.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Edward Billingsly, and a brother Harold Dudrey.

• There will be a service at a later date in Kansas.
