No return to the national tournament after Seward falls to Barton in semi-finals, 70-64.

Saints finally get a lead, but Barton keeping the game close with drives to the bucket, 53-50. 9:56 2nd hafl.

HALF STATS — Kaheem Ransom leads the Saints with 12 points, Malcolm Hill-Bey has six. For Cougars have two fouls while Edson Avila and Leslee Smith are the only Saints with two in the firts half.

Saints battle back and have a chance to tie the game, but a missed opportunity in the final minute allowed Barton to head to the locker with a two-point lead after having a nine-point advantage on the Saints earlier in the half.

Seward out of sync in first 10 minutes. Barton moving the ball and getting inside shots for a 2012 lead. Seward's Leslee Smith sitting with two fouls.

 

Saints head to the locker room prior to tipoff. Saints looked loose prior to shoot around.
