ULYSSES – Harold R. Goodwin, 74, died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.  
He was born May 1, 1935, to Charlie and Eunice (Cathey) Goodwin in Wapanuka, Okla.
He married Patsy Vandegriff in 1954.
He the married Shirley A. Nunley in 1977 in Hugoton. She survives.
He graduated from Ada (Okla.) High School.    
He was a tool pusher for the drilling and well servicing business.    
He was a member of the Shelton Memorial Christian Church in Ulysses.
He enjoyed playing golf, watching sports, especially golf, football and basketball, working on the computer and spending time with his family. 
Other survivors include three sons, Michael Goodwin, Oklahoma City, Bruce Goodwin, Dallas, and Randal Goodwin, Albuquerque, N.M.; one daughter, Angie Gilliam, Oklahoma City; one stepdaughter, Cindy  Walker, Garden City; three brothers, Ronald Goodwin, Colorado Springs, Colo., Donald Goodwin, Colorado Springs, and Tommy Goodwin, Albuquerque; one sister, Mary Hunt, Colorado Springs; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one stepson, Craig Finchone; and one brother, Junior Goodwin.
o Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Shelton Memorial Christian Church in Ulysses with the Rev. Bill Harrold presiding.  
Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.  
Memorials are suggested to the Shelton Memorial Christian Church in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave., Ulysses, KS  67880.
