Dr. Wallace Hunter, 93, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, in West Monroe, La.

He was born Feb. 13, 1919, in Sylvia.

He married Doris Groves Aug. 18, 1940. She died in 1981.

He then married Lois Collie in 1983. She survives.

He graduated from Carver Chiropractic School.

He served in the Medical Corps during World War II. He was a chiropractor in Dodge City from 1947 to 1997.

He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is also survived by three children, Darla Phillips, Liberal, Doug Hunter, Harwood, Texas, and Beth Iriye, San Carlos, Calif.; four stepchildren; one brother, Robert Hunter, Abilene, Texas; two sisters, Dawn Trinta, Erie, Colo., and Laurice Hunter, Wheatridge, Colo.; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

• Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Christ at 2300 Central Avenue in Dodge City.
