Maria Evangelina Diaz Orona, 54, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 26, 1955, to Crecensio Diaz and Margurita Orona in Contraestaca Sinaloa, Mexico.
She married Adan Villagran in El Paso, Texas. He survives.
She was employed at National Beef.
Other survivors include: two sons, Victor Diaz and wife, Aracely, Hernandez, Liberal, and Aiaim Diaz, Liberal; eight daughters, Angelica Salasar and husband Humberto, El Paso, Alicia Castillo, Liberal, Yolanda Ruby Martinez and husband, Gerardo, El Paso, Eva Diaz and husband, Moises Morales, Hobbs, N.M., Perla Diaz and husband, Filiberto Figeroa, Liberal, Alva Diaz and husband, Filiberto Alarcon, Liberal, Lluvia L. Diaz and husband, Arthur Groves, Liberal, and Nataly Diaz and companion, Miguel Angel Gonzales Liberal; two brothers; and 33 grandchildren, Humberto, Roberto, Alberto, Rigoverto and Gilberto Salazar, Lizzette, Edgar, Dagoverto, Alexis, Victor, Roberto, Alicia, Humberto and Miguel Angel Castillo, Kristal, Gerardo, Sergio and Jennifer Martinez, Mariana, Amy and Deserie Diaz, Daisy, Mark Anthony, Evelyn and Jeremy Morales, Perla, Esli, Adan and Angelina Figceroa, Adrian and Joselyn Alarcon and Isaiah Groves.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
o Funeral service were at 2 p.m. today at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness with Al Arteaga presiding.
Burial will be at Liberal Cemetery.
