The Turpin Cardinals extended their winning streak to seven with a two –game sweep of the Buffalo Bison, 1-0; 9-2.

In Game 1 Kyler Musgrave struck out nine in a five-inning shutout of Buffalo, 1-0. Musgrave allowed only 2 hits out of the 18 batters he faced.

Musgrave also batted in the only run of the game with a triple in the third inning.

In Game 2, the Cardinals started hot, scoring 8 runs in the first two innings on their way to a 9-2 victory.

Turpin took a 5-0 lead in the first and led 8-1 at the end of the second.

Jordan Lujan kept Buffalo batters at bay, giving up only 3 hits in five innings and striking out five.

Matthew Gross was 1-2 with a triple, 2 RBI, and two runs scored. Kyler Musgrave was 1-1 with an RBI and 2 runs scored. Matt Young batted in a run and scored a run.

Turpin (7-0) travels to Hooker today.
