By Lou Gomez Jr., of Liberal

I am a Pastor, chaplain and crisis counselor. All these positions allow me many possibilities to understand what individuals truly need.
I met an individual in Liberal at one of the finest restaurants in town. What I have learned is the deep character quality buried in a person who cares about others in need.
The normal ways of judgement is to question a person’s background and their family, which I understand. However, living in this dysfunctional world where power, greed and political preferences seem all too important, I see as a fallacy for true growth to be recognized.
I want to say having a person in a position to make choices that are best for all and not just given to political terms, is what every town needs.
I have used a lot of words to give my endorsement to Jack Carlile, who will be one to honestly influence our growth in town and individually.
