Obituary

Faye Shoemaker, 75, died Thursday April 18, 2013, in Oklahoma City.

She was born Oct. 4, 1937, to Howard and Flossa (Green) Denton in Kismet.

She married Tom Shoemaker in 1955 in Liberal. He survives.

She was a graduate of Liberal High School.

She is also survived by three sons, Jerry Shoemaker and wife, Karen, Fairfield, Texas, Todd Shoemaker, Broken Arrow, Okla., and Bart Shoemaker and wife, Jacque, Watsontown, Pa.; one daughter, Peggy Davis and husband, Dennis, Moscow; two sisters, Jean Hergert, Liberal, and Kaye Meacham, Claremore, Okla.;  seven grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

• A public graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Liberal Cemetery with Minister David Pearce presiding.

Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to be made to the Western Avenue Church of Christ in care of the mortuary.
