Obituary

SATANTA – Cecil Ray Shepard, 48, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, in an automobile accident in Haskell County.

He was born Dec. 27, 1961, to Dorrel Ray and Mary (Ruth) Talbert Shepard in Ulysses.

He was a road grader for the Haskell County Road Department.

Survivors include one son, Clint Shepard, Satanta; two daughters, Shannon Shepard, Tampa, Fla., and Samantha Shepard, Satanta; three sisters, Cyndee Small and husband, Fred, Liberal, Marla Neel, Kismet, and Candy Linneman, Gillete, Wyo.; three nephews, Joshua Parks, Dustin Parks and Christopher Parks; two nieces, Christy Garcia and Audrey Sandoval; many great nephews, nieces; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandmother, Inez Shepard, grandfather, Scott Talbert, and grandfather, Cecil Shepard.

o Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Satanta with Dr. Jack Jacob presiding.

Burial will be at the Dudley Township Cemetery in Satanta.

Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Haskell County Funeral Home.
