Liberal fell to 6-8 on the season after traveling to Dodge City Thursday and dropping a pair of Western Athletic Conference games.

Collin Ware took the loss for the Redskins on the mound in Game 1, but the defense didn’t help him.

Liberal committed five errors in the 8-0 loss.

Dodge scored three in the first, three in the second and single runs in each of the fifth and sixth innings.

Liberal had a total of four hits to the Red Demons six.

Stevie Lira took the loss in Game 2, and errors also contributed to the 4-0 loss.

Liberal committed three errors and only had two hits.

Dodge City scored four runs on only three hits.

The Redskins (6-8, 0-4) will look for their first WAC wins of the season at noon Saturday when they host Garden City (2-11, 0-4) for senior recognition.
