The bodies of Jose Angel Rodriguez, Jr., 36, and his wife, Alicia Rodriguez, 39, were found Wednesday evening locked in their bedroom at 1233 Krause Court. Although it is likely more information will be released later today, on Thursday afternoon, Capt. Patrick McClurg of the Liberal Police Department and 26th Judicial District Coroner Dr. Hubert Peterson felt it was not the appropriate time to release any information regarding the case. “I talked to Dr. Peterson,  neither of us are comfortable in making a statement regarding a manner or cause of death at this point,” McClurg said. “We are still working on the crime scene, and we still have a lot of other tests and things that need to occur.” Daily Leader photo/Jessica Crawford
