Kenzi Taylor signed a letter of intent to play college basketball for Southwestern College in Winfield Thursday.

Taylor, a first team all-state selection by the Daily Oklahoman was a four-year starter for the Lady Bulldogs amassing 1,769 points, 1,140 rebounds, 194 assists, 163, steals, and 171 blocked shots during her four years as a starter.

“She was a tremendous player for us,” Lady Bulldogs coach Brett Trippet said. “She started out by helping us get to the semifinals of the state tournament as a freshman. She could handle the ball, posted up, shot the three, and drove by people. She’s a great all-around player and those are hard to find.”

Taylor visited the campus and came away impressed with the team.

“I went and watched them, and I liked the style of play,” Kenzi Taylor said. “I liked the girls on the team and the campus.
