• USD No. 480
USD No. 480 is conducting a Kindergarten Round-Up from 5:30 to7:30 p.m. on Tuesday for parents and their prospective kindergarten age children.
The Round-Up will be at all district elementary schools on a come-and-go basis, and parents should plan to attend at their neighborhood school during those hours.
Parents and children will have the opportunity to meet the teachers and staff, tour the school, visit kindergarten classrooms, receive important information regarding enrollment requirements and children will receive a special welcome to kindergarten gift.
Children must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 31 to be eligible for kindergarten. Please bring a proof of residency (utility bill, phone bill, etc.) For those who are interested in having their child attend the dual language kindergarten, there will be a mandatory parent meeting from 5 to 5:30 p.m. at McDermott Elementary School that evening before the Round-Up.
Plan to attend Tuesday. The Round-Up will help parents and children make the transition to kindergarten a successful new beginning.
