Neva Jean Unruh, 80, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
She was born Nov. 25, 1932, to Jacob H. and Sarah (Wiens) Zielke northeast of Turpin, Okla.
She married Arline Unruh Nov. 11, 1951, in Turpin, Okla. He survives.
She was a 1951 graduate of Turpin High School.
She was employed at Beech Aircraft in assembly and as an engineer assistant until her retirement. For a short while, she worked at Airstream Aircraft Co in Oklahoma City.
She was a member of the Turpin Mennonite Church. She was on the service committee and sang in the choir for many years.
She was a seamstress.
Other survivors include two sons, Harland Dee Unruh and wife, Andrea, Weatherford, Okla., and Anthony Dell Unruh and wife, Sue, Dickinson, Texas; one daughter, Maryetta Gail Pabody and husband, Glenn, Quinlan, Texas; grandchildren, Max Lynn Unruh and wife, Tina, Miranda Dee Motley and husband, John, Thomas Lynn Unruh and wife, Denise, Jeremy Dean Unruh and wife, Tiffany, Tonya Amber Manous and husband, Cliff, and Phillip Unruh and wife, Valorie; and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Clifford Eugene Zielke, Vernon Oliver Zielke and Jimmie Richard Zielke, one grandson, Gregory Daniel Unruh, and two nephews, Rex and Kim Zielke.
• Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Turpin Mennonite Church with Pastor Terry Rediger presiding.
Burial will be at the Turpin Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Brenneman Funeral Home with the family to greet friends from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Turpin Mennonite Church.
