PUEBLO, Colo. – Elsie Lavon Masters, 86, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013, in Parlin, Colo., surrounded by her family.

She worked as a bus driver for 45 years for the Fountain/Hanover and District 60 schools.

She was a founding member of the Fountain Valley Museum, and a member of Fountain Valley Grange, Rebekahs, and the Pinon Arts and Crafts Club.

She is survived by her daughters, Ravonda (Sam) Hinson, Linda (Larry) Nienhueser; her brother, Herman (Ruth) Fuhrman; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister-in-laws, Bea Fuhrman, and Ada Ruth Tripet; her best friend, Stella Neugenbaur; and family friend, Marsha Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; son, Larry; brother, Delbert Fuhrman; her granddaughter, Kelly; and her great-grandson, Trevor.

• Funeral service was at 10 a.m. today at Adrian Comer Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Fowler Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Fountain Valley Museum.
