HOOKER, Okla. – Lenora Mae Mouser, 76, died Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Memorial Hospital of Texas County in Guymon, Okla.

She was born May 4, 1936, to Roy and Mary Carroll Russel in Cheyenne Wells, Colo.

She married C.J. Mouser on July 3, 1954, in Hooker, Okla. He survives.

She attended Hooker High School, and graduated with the class of 1954.

She made draperies and drove the school activity bus and special needs bus. She also worked for Pioneer Seeds, driving the bus and supervising the kids on a roguing crew.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hooker. She served on the BWOM, flower committee, and was in charge of the breezeway. She also made the church’s ceramic nativity scene.

She served on the Hooker Cemetery Board, Parks Board, Mother Club, Muddobers Club, Red Hats, and the Eagles Lodge.

Other survivors include son, Sparky Mouser and wife, Ruby, Oklahoma City; two daughters, Louaine Knoll and husband, Harold, Garden City, and Brenda Scott and husband, Donny, Hooker; eight grandchildren, Ben, Matt, Jonathon, Nicole, Amber, Molly, Josh and Gabe; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Carroll Russell; and great-granddaughter, Adryon Michelle Knoll.

• Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Hooker, with Brother Jim Roebuck presiding.

A private family burial will precede the service at the Hooker Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Hooker Cemetery Fund or the charity of the donor’s choice and may be left at Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, OK 73945.
