The Southwestern Heights Lady Mustangs softball team traveled to Spearville for their final doubleheader of the regular season, and suffered two losses by run rule in the fifth, 10-1 and 13-3.

In Game 1 Spearville scored two runs in each of the first two innings before Kiana Collins singled home Lexi Stark in the top of the fourth. Stark went 2-3 with a double in the game.

In Game 2 Spearville led 12-0 before Heights scored two in the fourth and one in the fifth.

Diana Carrillo was 2-3 with and RBI and a run scored. Collins was 1-2 with a double, a walk and a run scored.

Heights (8-12) will travel to Medicine Lodge Monday for the opening round of the 3A Regional. If the Lady Mustangs win, they will play their next game as the host their regional.
