Meade’s Jansonius wins golf Regional PDF Print E-mail

Austin Jansonius shot a 72, four strokes better than any other golfers at the 2A Regional Golf Tournament at Prairie Pines in Johnson.

Jansonius will be joined by his Meade teammates, as the Buffaloes finished third in the team standings behind Stanton County and Syracuse.

Mark Finster of Meade finished 8th to help the Buffaloes cause.

Elkhart’s Hunter Burnett, who finished sixth, and Braden Harbour also qualified for state.

The 2A State Tournament will take place next Monday at Mariah Hills Golf Course in Dodge City.
