The 2013 will be a season the Tigers will most likely forget by June when the Liberal Cal Ripken League converts to the traveling Rattler program.

The Tigers fell to 0-9 Tuesday after a loss to the Athletics.

The A’s remained in contention to finish as high as third, but they would need some help to reach that spot.

The A’s cranked out hit after hit and stretched singles into doubles and triples by stealing bases in the 12-1 win.

The Tigers struggled to get runners on base, and when they did get hits, the A’s were able to throw two runners out trying to steal second.

The A’s wrap up their season Friday against the league-leading Cardinals Tuesday. The Cardinals need the win to keep pace with the White Sox.

The Tigers will face the Rockies in their season finale Monday with one final shot at a victory for the season.
