HUGOTON – Orval Roy Toole , 93, died Friday, May 17, 2013.
He was born on Sept. 20, 1919, to Frank and Rieka Toole in Hugoton.
He married Nellie Miller, on Sept. 1, 1940. She preceded him in death.
He graduated from Hugoton High School.
He was a farmer/stockman in Stevens County all his life.
He was an active member of the First Christian Church where he served as a deacon, elder and chairman of the board.
He also served as president of Stevens County Farm Bureau and the Hugoton Riding Club.
He is survived by son, Terry Toole and wife, Mary, Shawnee, Okla.; daughter, Yvonne Pierce, Hugoton; brother, Edward Toole and wife, Mary Martha, Jackson, Mich.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Edna Kinser, Hugoton, and Winifred Vore, Stilwell.
He was also preceded in death by son, Roy Dean Toole; twin daughters, Myrna and Mildred Toole; grandson, Dr. Monte Pierce; and son-in-law, Earl Pierce.
• Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church, Hugoton, with Pastors Larry Bradford and Randy Nash presiding.
Burial will be at Hugoton Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at First Christian Church with family receiving friends from 7-8 p.m.
