Ted Dean Johnson, 51, died Tuesday May 21, 2013, at his home.

He was born Feb. 28, 1962, to Silas L. and Teresa J. (Stewart) Johnson in Beaver, Okla.

He married Lana Bromwell Sept. 23, 1988, in Liberal.

He was a graduate of Enid High School and served in the U.S. Army as a fueler for Black Hawk Helicopters.

He is survived by his mother; one daughter, Jessica Winkler, Liberal;  one sister, Terri Jean Johnson, Liberal; one niece, Cheyenne Soliz; and one nephew, William Andrew Adams, Liberal.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Johnson, Forgan, Okla., and Jack and Ruby Stewart, Beaver, Okla.

• Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Miller Mortuary Chapel in Liberal.
