Obituary

HUGOTON – Ronald Jay Phillips, 56, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, at his brother’s home in Hugoton.

He was born Jan. 23, 1953, to Richard Eldon and June (Coulter) Phillips in Salina.

He was a computer specialist for Hugoton Public Schools, USD 210.

He was a member and a deacon of the Trinity Baptist Church.

He was a member of the Rotary Club of Hugoton.

Survivors include one brother, Donald Phillips and wife, Patricia, Hugoton; one nephew, Brandon Lee Phillips; two nieces, Katrina Lynn Phillips, Hugoton, and Lynette Kay Hall and husband, Jon, Liberal; two great-nieces, Ny Kollen and Kamryn; one great-nephew, Nathan; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Baptist Church in Hugoton with Minister Jay Stapleton presiding.

Burial will be at the Hugoton Cemetery.

Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Paul’s Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to either the Trinity Baptist Church or the Rotary Club, both of Hugoton, and may be mailed to Paul’s Funeral Home, Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
