Meade’s Trevin Wiens came away from the 2A State Track and Field Championships with golds in the 100, 200 and 400 meter dashes. The Buffaloes fell just four points short of Plainville to finish second in the team standings.

Hugoton’s Nicole Kinser took first in the 4A long jump and triple jump. Tarah Wiens won the 2A long jump. The Satanta girls 4x400 meter relay team took home gold in 1A.
