Obituary

SYRACUSE – Tracie Ann Kirkland, 31, died Monday, May 27, 2013, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center St. Francis Campus in Wichita.

She was born July 5, 1981, to Jimmy and Denette (Gould) Kirkland in Ulysses.

She graduated from Stanton County High School in 2000.

She worked for Syracuse Flying Service and helped with the restoration of vintage planes.

She was a Denver Bronco fan, loved to fish, 4-wheel, and spend time with her family.

Survivors include grandparents, Dennis and Karleen Gould, Golden, Mo.; her parents; sister, Kandice Schwieterman and husband, Neil, Syracuse; and nieces, Kaiya Harmon, Abigail Schwieterman and Madalyn Schwieterman.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Loretta Kirkland.

• Funeral service will be at 10 a.m.  Friday at the Fields Memorial Wesleyan Church in Johnson, with Pastor Kurt Rovenstine presiding.

Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m.  Thursday at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson.
