Brian Lynn Caffey, 36, died May 30, 2013, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.

He was born July 9, 1976, to Troy Lynn and Crystal Lynette (Williams) Caffey in Aransas Pass, Texas.

He married Maranda M. Wagonseller March 11, 2010, in Liberal. She survives.

He was a Liberal High School graduate.

He had worked in the oilfield and also former worked at Mosaic.

Other survivors include grandparents, Jim and Sally Caffey, Fort Scott; one son, Troy Michael Caffey, Liberal; two  stepdaughters, Elizabeth Hope Garza and Alyssa Nicole Garza, both of Liberal; mother-in-law, Diana Ebersole, Liberal; and many uncles and aunts.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandmother, Patricia “Pat” Caffey.

• A gathering of family and friends will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at 109 W. Pine.

Memorials are suggested to the Brian Caffey Memorial Fund in care of Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. Second, Liberal, KS 67901.
