Between 4 and 4:30 p.m. Friday, a young male cyclist was eastbound on Second Street, when they attempted to turn north on to Clay Avenue. A GMC Yukon was headed west on Second as the cyclist made the turn, and he was struck by the Yukon, according to Liberal Police Department Capt. Pat McClurg.
