NELL’s Yard of the Week PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 24 June 2013 10:06

Summer started out with some nice rain and a new sign for the Northeast Leadership Liberal’s Yard of the Week. This week’s Yard of the Week goes to Velma Williams at 510 Tamarack Street. Velma’s son, Kedryck Williams, helps his mother water and mow the yard to keep it neat year round. Velma’s yard is mowed up and trimmed up in a very neat manner. She was talking about making a small flowerbed to the right of her step to help solve a small problem place in her yard. In the picture is Velma Williams and Max Phelps. Max is joining Richard Mason and C.J. Wettstein in viewing the lawns weekly and picking out the yard that looks the best for the week. N.E.L.L. will be picking a new lawn each Wednesday evening for the Yard of the Week so everyone needs to have their lawn in tip-top shape on Wednesdays. N.E.L.L. likes to pick lawns that are nice and green, mowed up and trimmed neatly. Nice flowerbeds and trees are a plus. When you see N.E.L.L. staff driving around on Wednesdays, give them a wave and a holler. Courtesy photo
