Elsie Harp, 94, died Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
She was born Dec. 5, 1915, to D.K. and Augusta (Mac Kenroth) Baty at Plains.
She married Lloyd Harp May 23, 1937, in California. He died July 21, 2000.
She graduated from Plains High School and had graduated from Southwestern College in Winfield.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, P.E.O. and the Aurora Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Marjorie McClure, Pittsburgh, Pa., Margaret Davie, Manhattan; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Lawrence Harp, one daughter, Carolyn Beasley, and four sisters.
o Private graveside service will be at Liberal Cemetery with the Rev. David Randall presiding.
Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home.
