The Liberal Bulldogs competed in the National Baseball Congress 16-and-under state tournament in Wichita over the weekend and finished with a 1-2 record in their first-ever appearance in an NBC tournament.

Game 1

Liberal Bulldogs 15, Wichita Sluggers 0

Law Reiner and Lorenzo Pando combined for two-hit shutout.

Game 2

Wichita Dodgers 7, Liberal Bulldogs 4 (8 innings)

Bulldogs allowed six runs in final two innings of loss.

Game 3

Wichita Indians 17, Liberal Bulldogs 0

Liberal left seven runners stranded in scoring position through first four innings in loss.
