Liberal was certainly blessed with the 2013 Fourth of July weekend.

The 125th Liberal High School All Class Reunion Committee surprised visitors with multiple places to attend free of charge with their registration wrist bands.

We realize there were so many developers, and we did not always know how many and who to thank, so we would like to take this opportunity to thank you with this note. We know Mike Brack started on this quite some time ago talking with and encouraging others.

Also exciting were the places we got to enjoy, like the museums, parks, city and LHS tours, ball games and fireworks, plus the Baker Arts exhibit of Liberal’s outstanding artists’ pictures, blown glass and on and on.

Yes, Liberal is an exceptional community and this was just another way it shows its pride, caring and outstanding abilities.

Yes, the Leader & Times deserves thanks for the Liberal book and pamphlet that was in the registration envelope.
