After getting back on track against Sublette Friday night, the Mustangs were derailed by Leoti in the Hi-Plains League Tournament championship game, 44-41 in overtime.

Oscar Sigala led the Mustangs with 15 points, Cory Ryan scored 10, Jacob Flores had nine, and Wes Winfrey scored seven.

Leoti jumped out to a 17-10 lead in the first quarter, and both teams struggled to make a basket in the the second. By halftime, Leoti led 19-13.

Heights narrowed the gap to 26-24 after three and forced overtime by tying Leoti in the fourth. But the Indians were able to outscore the Mustangs in the extra period for the win.
