Maria Elena Orona, 66, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at St, Francis Via Christi Hospital in Wichita.
She was born Dec. 17, 1946, to Felix and Ninfa (Zura) Hernandez at Juarez, Mexico.
She married Roberto Orona Dec. 31, 1999, in Liberal. He survives.
She was a homemaker and active within the church.
She is also survived by two sons, Felix Corrales and wife, Mayra, Liberal, Martin Hernandez, Liberal; one sister, Maria Dolores Rodriguez, Liberal; and one grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
• Friends may call from 4 to 10 p.m. today at the Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal M.I. Church in Liberal.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal M.I. Church with Pastor Jorge Castaneda presiding.
Burial will follow at the Liberal City Cemetery.
