L&T staff report

According to a report by the Daily Oklahoman, former SCCC Saint Edson Avila will not enroll at Oklahoma University.

“He did not meet established transfer requirements to participate during the fall 2013 semester,” OU director of media relations Mike Houck reported in an email to Soonerscoop.com.

The 6’10 Avila averaged 11.4 points, and 5.8 rebounds a game last season for the Saints. Avila was also an All-Jayhawk second team selection.

Saints basketball coach Bryan Zollinger said he could not confirm anything because he had not yet spoke to Avila.
