ABOVE: Local Girl Scouts joined Jean Randall, city officials and Chamber Ambassadors for a ribbon cutting Wednesday officially dedicating the Randall Girls Scout Building. According to Randall’s second daughter Jill Tanking, the building is for Girl Scouts or local corporation use. “The other building was in pretty bad shape even when I was there,” she said. “Mother was our Girl Scout leader when I was growing up.” LEFT: Jean Randall was proud to be a part of the local celebration. “I think it’s great,” Randall said. “The thing is, it can be used for other things besides the Girl Scouts. But I tell you, if it hadn’t have been for Joe Sealey, this wouldn’t have gotten done. He was the one that really got it going.” Daily Leader photos/Jessica Crawford
