Obituary

ELKHART – Anna G. Britt, 84, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at Morton County Care Center in Elkhart.

She was born June 1, 1929, to Donald and Harriet (Fry) Cozby in Clayton, N.M.

She married James Terry Britt in 1945. He preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker, sales clerk for Duckwalls, and worked at the Dairy Kreem.

She served as a Sunday school teacher for years and was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Elkhart.

She enjoyed circle track car races.

Survivors include one son, Stephen Britt and wife, Vivian, Elkhart; daughter, Linda Koski, Elkhart; six grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Don Cozby and Jack Schultz; and sister, Gladys Stroud.

• Funeral service will be at 11 a.m.  Thursday at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Elkhart, with Pastor Jim Lavielle presiding.

Burial will follow at the Elkhart Cemetery.

Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart.

Memorials are suggested to the Elkhart Recreation Girls Softball Program in care of Garnand Funeral Home, P.O. Box 854, Elkhart, KS  67950.
