• Lisa Hatcher, President, Liberal Bright Futures
• Keeley Moree, Liberal Young Professionals
We would like to thank everyone for participating in the 2013 Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive. We felt that the school supply drive was very successful and hope to continue each year. Many students in USD 480 have benefited from your generosity and the joint efforts of Bright Futures, Kansas Children’s Service League, Liberal Young Professionals and USD 480.
We are looking forward to expanding our efforts through collaboration with other agencies in Liberal to make next year’s school supply drive the best yet. Through such community involvement we are able to positively impact the lives of children and families. With your continued support and contributions, we are able to fill student’s needs throughout the entire school year.
As John Kennedy stated, “Children are the world’s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future.” Unless they are adequately prepared to learn, they cannot reach their full potential. We must serve as advocates for the well-being of children in our community.
Again, I would like to express our thanks for your participation in our annual school supply drive.
