This snowman appeared in the 2100 block of Tulip in front of  Bret and Elizabeth Irby’s home. A neighbor said it was the work of children in the neighborhood that completed this Frosty, the Jayhawk fan. Whether it had anything to do with the Saturday night basketball game between the Jayhawks and their cross-state rival the K-State Wildcats is anybody’s guess. The Jayhawks did pull out a 81-79 OT win over the Wildcats. For more on the game, see SPORTS, PAGE 10. Courtesy photo
