Max Stanley Farris, 69, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Liberal Good Samaritan Center.
He was born March 16, 1940, to Wayne Hamilton and Margie Magdalene Marie (Eckels) Farris in Dacoma, Okla..
He married Maria Paz Lagunas Sept. 15, 1972, in Liberal. She survives.
He was a 1959 graduate of Dacoma High School.
He was a truck driver for J & R Sand Company in Liberal.
Other survivors include two sons, Jonathon Farris and wife, Rhonda, Liberal, and Danny Ray Farris, Liberal; one daughter, Sandy Moorman and husband, Patrick, Overland Park; three brothers, Bill Farris and wife, JaDeanna, Alva, Okla., Ernie Farris and wife, Genevieve, Alva, and John Farris and wife, Vickie, Alva; one sister, Kay Loges, Alva; and two grandchildren, Aeryk Guzman and Aaron Moorman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
o Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Bagwell presiding.
Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery in Liberal.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
