Cynthia Ella “Cindy” Wood, 61, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, at her residence in Wichita. She was born Dec. 8, 1951, to Robert and Henriella (Lasswell) Booth in Liberal. She married Randy Wood, Sept. 10, 2004, in Wichita. He survives. She graduated from Tyrone High School in 1970. She was a homemaker and worked at Kindercare Day Care. She was baptized at Tyrone Baptist church at a young age and was a member of the Countryside Christian Church in Wichita. Her hobbies included craft work, gardening and decorating. She was known for her front porch decorations changing with the seasons and holidays. She is also survived by her parents, Robert and Henriella Booth Tyrone, Okla.; two sons, Ragan Dreitz and wife, Cheryl, Liberal, Reid Dreitz and wife, Ida Wichita; one daughter, Robyn Friederich and husband, Matt Liberal; one sister, Vickie Booth, Tyrone, Okla.; and five grandchildren, Dustin Friederich, Dane Friederch, Ella Friederich, Zachary Dreitz and Ava Dreitz. • Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Southern Baptist Church in Liberal with Pastor Jack Jacob and Pastor Gary Stone presiding. Burial will be in Tyrone Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home. The family will be present to greet friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers and plants memorials are suggested to Leader Dog School for the Blind.
