The South Apache football teams travelled to Dodge City Thursday to take on  Dodge Comanche. The seventh grade team fell 38-0, while the eighth graders lost 38-20.

The eighth grade Apaches kept it competetive, but could not come away with their first win of the season.

Daniel Castillo had an interception for South that he returned for a touchdown.

Peyton Cypret scored on a one-yard run, and Jesse Lira had a touchdown of his own, getting to the endzone on a 20-yard run.

Misael Monarrez chipped in with a two-point conversion
